Do I need to be certified?

Most tenders allow for an organization to provide evidence of ISO 45001 without certification.

A certified system ensures your company is meeting the highest WHS, QA and Environmental standards and criteria required by the Commonwealth Government in order to perform national, state and local government works.

This is a 2 stage process. First you need to purchase a system that meets the requirements of AS 4801/ISO 18001, ISO 9001; 2015, ISO 14001; 2015 and then have the systems implemented within your company or organization for a period of time showing their working effectiveness. The second stage involves engaging an accrediting authority to ensure that your processes conform to AS 4801/ISO 18001, ISO 9001; 2015 and ISO 14001; 2015.
